Central to the Venocuff concept is that the venous valves in
the groin are subject to high pressures, and can gradually
dilate and cease to function normally. The Venocuff is wrapped around these abnormal dilated veins, and restores the valve to normal function. Not all patients are suitable, and selection criteria must be based on detailed examination of the groin valves.
The Venocuff is especially suitable for patients with mild to moderate varicose veins, women before and after pregnancy, and younger patients, especially if there is a family history of varicose veins.
